This painting was donated to the Art for the Animals silent auction charity 2008 to benefit the Humane Society of Washington Co. This is the original photo of Angus from his owner. She asked to have his painting created without the wicker chair and include a plaid background.This is the sketch sent to Angus's owner for approval. She had many options to choose from. She decide to go for the A-3 background and to add his favorite toy.After a few emails this is the final painting! His owner Elanor made some great suggestions along the way. When painting any animal portrait I always value input and feedback from the client.
